After over two years of dedication and creativity, we are thrilled to finally unveil our latest film: Marvel Rivals. This project has been a remarkable journey marked by numerous challenges, but the final result makes every effort worthwhile.

The Road Less Traveled: Embracing Stylized Animation

Our studio has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality realistic 3D animations, however, venturing into stylized animation once again was not a task we took lightly as we wanted to showcase the full range of our capabilities and the incredible skills of our team. This project provided the perfect opportunity to do just that.

Overcoming Challenges Together

Like every journey, this one was not without its hurdles. Each step of the process brought its own set of challenges. From adapting our workflow to suit 2D FX techniques to ensuring that every frame captured the essence of our story, we overcame numerous obstacles and with every challenge came growth. Our team emerged stronger, more knowledgeable and even more cohesive than before. We learned, adapted, and pushed the boundaries of what we thought possible.

A Creative Journey Worth Taking

Working on this project has been a fantastic experience. The creative journey was filled with moments of dynamic teamwork, problem-solving and innovation. Our talented artists and production team never gave up, continuously striving to bring our vision to life. The trust and collaboration within our team, and with NetEase and Marvel, played a crucial role in getting us through the ups and downs. This collective effort resulted in a film that we are immensely proud of.

Showcasing Our Studio’s Versatility

This project allowed us to showcase not just the versatility of our studio but also the breadth of skills within our team. It was an opportunity to demonstrate a broader range of Unit Image’s capabilities. We loved being able to dive into stylized animation once again and bring a new dimension to our storytelling. This film is a testament to our commitment to pushing creative boundaries and exploring more avenues.
